Onion dosa / Uthappam

Ingredients
  1. Dosa batter - 1 cup
  2. Onion - 1 medium size
  3. Green chilli - 1
  4. Salt - 1 tsp
Procedure
  1. Slice onion and green chilli into very small pieces
  2. Add salt to this mixture
  3. Heat tawa; brush with oil; pour one ladle of batter and spread it around evenly
  4. Put 1 tbsp of sliced onion, chilli mixture over the batter. Adding more onion gives a very nice aroma.
  5. Slightly press the onion on top of the dosa to make sure it will not fall off the dosa when it is flipped. 
  6. Flip the dosa to the other side after 1 min
  7. Serve hot dosa with chutney and sambhar.
