Ingredients
- Potato - 1
- Ladies finger - 10
- Raw banana - 1
- Brinjal - 1
- Carrot - 1
- Yam - 5 pieces
- Red chilli powder - 1 tbsp
- Turmeric powder - 0.25 tbsp
- Oil - 3 tbsp
- Curry leaves - 1 twig
- Salt - to taste
- Water
Procedure
- Cut potato into medium sized pieces
- Cut banana, ladies finger, brinjal, carrot into circular pieces
- Cut yam into medium sized pieces
- In a vessel, mix all the vegetables, turmeric, red chilli powders and salt
- Add water enough to cover half the vegatbles.
- Add 0.5 tbsp of oil
- Cover and cook till vegetables are cooked. It should not become overcooked and mushy. Add more water if required.
- Add rest of the oil, curry leaves and fry for another 5 minutes.
- Tasty kuttu vegetable mezhukkupuratti is ready to be served with rice or chappathi
