Ingredients
- Chakkakuru / Jack fruit seeds - 20
- Turmeric powder- 1/4 teaspoon
- Chilli powder- 2 teaspoon
- Coriander powder- 1 teaspoon
- Salt- to taste
- Oil- 3 teaspoons
- Mustard seeds- 1/2 teaspoon
- Shallot - 20
- Curry leaves- 1 twig
- Water - 1 cup
Procedure
- Peel the jackfruit seeds and cut it vertically. Entire cream and brown cover has to be peeled.
- Cook it in a pressure cooker by adding one cup of water.
- Peel and cut shallots into long pieces.
- In a pan, add oil
- Splutter mustard seeds.
- Then add curry leaves, shallots.
- Add red chilli, turmeric and coriander powder and mix till the raw smell goes away.
- Add the cooked jackfruit seeds, little oil and saute well.
