Procedure
- Prawn - 500 gm
- Ginger, garlic paste - 1 tbsp
- Red chilli powder - 1 tbsp
- Coriander powder - 1 tbsp
- Garam masala - 0.5 tsp
- Tomato - 1 medium
- Onion - 3 medium
- Curry leaves - 2 twigs
- Water - 0.5 cup
- Salt
- Oil
- Coconut oil - 1 tbsp
Procedure
- Clean and devein the prawns.
- Marinate prawn with sat and keep aside.
- Cut onion and tomato into small pieces.
- In a pan, heat oil.
- Add onion to this and fry till it turns brown.
- Add ginger and garlic paste to this and fry for a minute or till the raw small leaves.
- Add tomato to this and fry till becomes mushy.
- Add red chilli, coriander, turmeric and garam masala and fry for a minute.
- Add prawn to this and once it becomes white all around, add water.
- Cover with a lid and cook for 10 minutes.
- Add curry leaves and coconut oil and let the masala boil till it comes to right consistency.
- Yummy prawn masala is ready to be served with rice or chappathi.
