Ingredients
- Onion - 3 medium
- Oil - 1 tbsp
- Red chilli powder - 1 tbsp
Procedure
- Cut onion into big pieces
- Pulse it 2-3 times using a mixie. It should be ground very coarsely.
- Heat oil in a pan
- Add red chilli powder to this and fry for few minutes
- Add half cup water to this and boil for few minutes till the oil separates
- Add onion to this and cook till onion is completely cooked.
- Add water to this as per the consistency required and boil for few more minutes
- Yummy onion chutney can be served as a side dish for idli or dosa.
